I am currently reading (actually listening!) to the book, Will It Fly? by Pat Flynn. I promised in my last email that I would be documenting my journey through the book on my blog so here it goes!

The Beer Budget Business has been an idea for me, lurking around and teasing me, for at least 2 years. I just know it could work but I didn’t know how to validate that. Then along came Pat Flynn and his new book!

Here’s what I like about the book so far.

First, I love the analogy of the all things flying in his book. It’s the same thing I’m trying to do with Beer Budget Business. Relating to something simple and it’s simple for people to relate to!

Second, I love that Pat’s published a course, for FREE!, to go along with the book. I feel like this book is hitting me from all angles.

Third, I love that he truly is giving me a flight plan to validate if this Beer Budget Business thing will work or not. Some of the things he’s mentioned are things that I’ve heard before but that’s ok. Because this is the right time to hear them.

Fourth, I love being given homework. Not a lot of homework, mind you. But there’s something in the process of writing things down that makes things stick for me.

I am currently on Chapter 2, section 8. I’ve completed my airport test. I don’t think I’m going to be as brave as Pat and publish them on the World Wide Web but I will email it to you if you’re really interested. I feel like having this airport test with me, and reminding me always, is such a great motivator for me.

Please share with me where you are in the book, if you are reading or listening and what your biggest take-aways are so far. I’d love to hear from you.
